It’s that time again…..the last session of the Baby Plan with this family of four!  It’s been so great seeing these two boys grow up and they have the best mommy and daddy!  Make sure to scroll to the end of this post – “The Big One Cake Smash” was adorable!

I can’t believe a year has gone by since Paxton’s newborn session!  I had remembered that his parents were big Cardinals fans, so when they asked for a baseball cake smash, I knew it had to be different than the signature “red and white.”  We loved this session and Paxton’s outfits!  Go Cards!  Your little fan, Paxton, will be cheering you on!

This little sweetie came in on Tuesday and by Tuesday night, I had her session almost edited because I was so excited to get them done!  Happy birthday, Miss Brynn!  You are adorable and filled with so much happiness!  Always stay that way!  

I may be partial, since Hudson is my cousin, but look how cute he is!!!!  I loved this cake smash set, and he really was a happy camper!  Happy first birthday, buddy!!!

A cake smash photo session is a fun, joyful way to commemorate the milestone of your little one’s first birthday. Capture your baby’s surprise, curiosity and delight as he/she digs into a birthday cake!  The session takes place at our studio, which is full of fun props, backdrops, and outdoor scenery (weather permitting). 

Janelle and I were so excited about this set and birthday theme!  We have never created a tribal cake set, and there were a lot of ideas out there.  We decided to keep it somewhat neutral will small pops of color, since Joe would be wearing a white onesie.

Thank you to this sweet family for allowing me to capture your journey into parenthood, through Rylan’s first birthday! It’s been an honor, and I am so excited about these special images!  Happy birthday to this sweet boy!

This theme never gets old.  Since we have had a couple Lumberjack Cake Smashes lately, we wanted to do a different set, that was a little more “woodsy!”  And, we had to make sure George stayed warm by his fire :).  Happy first birthday to this cutie!!!

Look how happy this sweet boy is!  It’s crazy to think that Leo is almost a year old!  His mom, Casey, worked at the studio last year, helping me plan cake smash sessions and sets, so when she wanted a simple, white set, with an ombre cake, I knew the simplicity would be beautiful, and it was! Happy birthday, Leo!!!

Ella and her brother, Jackson, are so easy to take pictures of.  Ella’s surely a princess and Jackson loves to make her laugh and look out for her, which made for some great photos!  I always like to begin 12-month sessions with family and sibling shots, then finish with the cake, so everyone can get messy, right along with the cake smasher!  

Joey is one lucky little boy – his mom and dad have worked very hard on his first birthday celebration!  I love the lumberjack theme and we had so much fun decorating his cake set!  Happy first birthday, Joey!  It’s been so much fun taking your pictures this year!  His cake was made by Sweet […]
