In the midst of editing a couple weeks ago, I looked at Joe and said that I feel bad we haven’t updated our family pics since Braxton turned one. See, I made these cute canvas prints, that go so well with my living room colors, so the thought of updating pictures in our new house, AGAIN, really made me want to take a nap! However, the “mom in me” decided that, yes, we need our own memories, since my career is based on providing those for others. I emailed Lauren Seidel, of Lauren Seidel Photography, and she was able to get us in! (Fall is crazy for us photographers and Lauren was so great to work with our schedules, even after a rainout!)
Right before our session, Braxton in the worst mood I have seen him in. Ok, I’m lying, but he was so ridiculously crabby! Of course he was, right?! He began our session using only the word, “no,” a bad attitude, and food on his face. Candy, a patient photographer, and lots of sticks, helped our grumpy toddler warm up, and I love everything about this session! Thank you, Lauren!!!
So there you have it – life isn’t perfect and Lauren captured Braxton’s age and our family so well! Now, I am excited to make more prints for our new home, and I can’t stop smiling at these memories!
