As a family photographer in Washington, MO, I always welcome pets to be included into family pictures. A photo session with the family pet is always a good idea! Happiness is a warm puppy and a grassy field in the soft light at the end of a summer’s day.

I have been photographing this family since Jack was a baby. It was so nice to catch up with them at their sunset session. Seeing the bond between Jack and his new dog during his sunset photo session must have truly been heartwarming. Pets bring so much joy and love into our lives. It’s wonderful how photography allows us to preserve heartwarming memories like this over the years when your puppy is not so young and small anymore.
