St. Louis Temple & Windows on Washington: Two stunning locations for a magical wedding!!
Shooting a wedding at the LDS Temple in St. Louis, MO was a first for us. Per the couple’s request, Janelle and I started shooting as soon as Rosie and Steph exited the Temple. It was only a few days before Christmas and the weather couldn’t have been better! The beautiful sunset and soft winter light made for some unforgettable images!
Janelle and I shoot every wedding together and it makes our images so much stronger, getting different angles without getting in each other’s way!
Rosie’s mom wanted to make sure we had the LDS Temple in the background – and that was no problem at this location. It was beautiful!
These two were so cute together and could have fun in any pose we put them in! When a couple is relaxed in front of the camera, it makes our job so easy! It also makes us relax, too!
Since the sunset was so gorgeous, we had to get some solo shots, too!
We even finished photos a little early, so we went straight to the gorgeous reception venue at Windows on Washington.
Rosie’s roommate from college gave a toast. She mentioned that Rosie loved Coke and cleaning. Janelle and I knew we liked her :).
Since Steph’s parents couldn’t be there, he danced with Rosie’s mom for the mother-son-dance. It was so adorable, and I love how Rosie and her dad sat together to watch! I love a winter wedding, but the Mistletoe Booth that Rosie made was probably my favorite part of the reception! We had to do a cute bride and groom kissing shot there! Then, we did our signature nighttime shot, which was actually indoor! I love the tin wall, with the old brick inside of the hall.
Congratulations to a special couple – being there for your wedding was just as magical as the Christmas season!
