This airplane birthday session not only featured Louie taking part in a fun cake smash, but is also captured his beautiful family! Clients have the option to add family photos to their baby’s first birthday session and most take advantage of it. They don’t stay little for long, therefore, it’s wonderful to have these memories captured for years to come!

Up, Up and Away in an Airplane Birthday Session

When daddy is in the Air Force, you better believe airplanes will appear somewhere. Mom wanted a vintage feel to the set design, and my black iron airplane and old-time suitcases added the perfect touch. I have many cute things in studio. If I don’t have what you are looking for, though, I can probably create it. I’m a whiz with a die cut machine! 🙂

Look at those curls and those eyes! They both blend with the warm colors of these images. Before each birthday session, I send my clients a questionnaire to fill out. Do you have inspiration for the cake design and set theme? How do you envision the “look and feel” for the non-cake portion of the session? I like to know where the images will be displayed in your home. This information helps me select the right backdrops and props.
