Lots of Happy Mommas at our First-Ever Baby Love Event!
This year, we decided to throw a mini Baby Shower at our studio for some really special women, and I never thought we would have such an amazing turnout! Our Baby Love Event will likely become an annual “shower” at the studio because it was so much fun! Each expecting mom will receive at least three complimentary images. (I promised one, but I can’t make up my mind!) Look at all of the glowing moms, looking fantastic!
We offered raffles, discounts on baby sessions, a complimentary photo and party favors, which happened to be amazing cookies from Fairytale Cookie Company. Her cookies are so pretty and make the best treat for shower guests and future baby birthday parties, so keep her in mind! I think the “Momosa Bar” was a hit, too. It’s nice to have mocktails during this time!
I can’t say enough good things about our vendors. I reached out to only a few because I wasn’t sure how the Baby Love Event would turn out. Neighborhood Reads donated books and a gift certificate – and did you know that they offer baby registries, so you can start filling those bookshelves? Genius!
When I reached out to Exit 11, I joked that all new moms need caffeine, and Angie mentioned that their space is actually available to rent for baby showers! Plus, their drive-thru location is great when you don’t want to get baby out of the car. I’m guilty of that! Sometimes I load baby up, just to drive thru – it’s that good!
Washington Greenspa and Wellness specializes in prenatal massages and expecting moms should be pampered. We were thrilled when they donated a gift basket (filled with belly butter and natural, kid-safe items) for mom to treat herself! They also donated a $50 gift card, which was so generous. Photogenics donated a Baby Shusher because it’s a great, portable option to soothe baby. We also donated a $100 gift certificate. Can’t wait to give all of these prizes to the winners!
