I’m so excited to take you on a Photogenics on Location studio tour! My dream to have an amazing space on the Washington Riverfront became a reality in 2013. I’ve had so much fun over the years making it into the perfect place to capture memories for my clients. It’s cozy with old world charm but can be easily changed into having a Boho vibe or a Farmhouse feel. Want to see examples of my sessions at the studio? Visit my Instagram and Facebook pages!
Photography Studio Tour | A Look Inside Photogenics on Location | Washington, MO
I want my clients to feel at home while at the studio. The best sessions happen when there is no stress! There is a dedicated space for you to put down your things, enjoy a cup of coffee or bottle of water, munch on a few snacks, and relax. Kids can watch TV when they aren’t being photographed. Mom can nurse/feed baby on the comfortable couch. The client area is yours to do what is necessary to make your session with us an enjoyable one.
These shelves contain quilts, blankets, throws, etc that are used for both inside and outside sessions. They compliment any type of decor you have in your home. Diaper covers and other baby apparel fill the aqua dresser. All are available for you to use during a session. Looking for something specific? Check with us because we might save you a trip to the store!
Wraps and headbands and rompers, oh my!
I carry a rainbow of colors and styles for swaddles so no matter your preference, I have it available at the studio! From solids to perfect floral and textured fabrics, these baby wraps can be used to snuggle baby or as a colorful pop in a bucket or basket.
I have a weakness for headbands! Aren’t they just gorgeous?!? I promise myself I won’t go overboard each year and alas, I always do. Newborn girls look so sweet wearing these. It honestly will make your heart melt looking at the images of your beautiful baby adorned with a floral crown!
Most parents bring clothing items for their newborns and toddlers but I do carry some of the sweetest options for boys and girls. I have rompers, onesies, overalls, etc with florals, lace and country accents. So stinking cute!! Again, if you are looking for something specific, check with me because all of these are available for your use at newborn, sitter and birthday sessions!
This tired rack hold some of the cutest head coverings for baby! These hats and bonnets are super soft and add so much character to newborn pictures.
Props to my prop collection!
I love shopping for all of the things…chairs, rocking horses, buckets, baskets, crates, florals, luggage, macrame hangings, etc to make your session extra special. I shop throughout the year and add to my collection ALL. THE. TIME.
If you build it…
I was looking to add some neutral backdrop options to the studio. The stone walls are amazing but I needed something that could change with a client’s preferences. When I couldn’t find what I wanted, I had a wall built!! One side is neutral sheet rock and the other is neutral shiplap. Look how the wicker chair pops against it! Add in a beautiful family and you have a memory made to bring smiles for years to come!!
Here is my space where I edit your images and do all things business. It’s not the best part of the studio but it’s my home away from home and I love it so! I am so blessed to call this little space on the Washington riverfront mine.
