What a day Hannah and Austin’s wedding was! If you don’t know by now, you should know that WE LOVE WINTER WEDDINGS! I could shout it from a mountaintop! The soft light and the winter-look help create the most unforgettable wedding images! It also helps when details are well-thought-out and flowers add subtle pops of color!
If you haven’t been to Silver Oaks Chateau yet, know that it is one of the most simple, yet elegant wedding venues we have ever worked in. I love when the bride gets ready in a place with good light and clean backgrounds.
And, Silver Oak’s bridal suite is large enough for the girls to get ready and stay comfortable before the ceremony! Aren’t Hannah’s bridesmaids so cute! Their personalities were so adorable and Hannah really looked remarkable!
And, when I mentioned the importance of details earlier, Hannah was great at this! Even the bottom of her shoes were picture-perfect!
We took pictures inside for as long as we could, to stay warm, until the couple’s first look. The window light was beautiful!
Austin was so sweet, and excited to see his bride! You have to love a man who can appreciate a robotic vacuum from his soon-to-be-wife!
These guys were awesome – so easy to work with and lots of fun to photograph!
The colors of this wedding were vibrant against the bareness of winter.
Hannah & Austin’s First Look
The couple’s first look couldn’t have been more seamless. There was excitement, not much nervousness, and they were both so excited to see one another!
The front of Silver Oaks is the most beautiful backdrop for pictures. And, I love the elegance of the holiday decor.
We always make sure mom and dad get a picture while they’re all dressed up! Beautiful couples!
We stepped inside when we needed to warm up a bit!
Before we went to Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Washington, we made a special stop so Hannah could see her sweet grandmother! There was not a dry eye in the room. So glad they had this moment.
The church’s Christmas decor looked so beautiful during the wedding!
After the ceremony, we went downtown for sparkler photos and they were so cute! Usually we have to do a few attempts, but it only took once!

The Silver Oaks Chateau reception decor was even more beautiful than when we left for the ceremony! The attention to detail appears in every aspect of the room.
The rest of the night was full of laughter, dancing and fun!
And, no Photogenics’ wedding is complete without a nighttime shot before we leave!
