Snow, a beautiful couple and a big gray dog! A snowy engagement session is always a good idea but it can be hard to schedule. It depends on the amount of snow and if you can prepare for a last-minute shoot! I received a text from Whitney after our “big” snow last week, asking me […]

I am just so happy this couple choose us to shoot their wedding next June! They are the sweetest and so creative! Janelle and I went to Chris’ family’s farm, in Gerald, MO. This beautiful area had fields, a lake, creek, rock road, and the most scenic backgrounds, perfect for an evening session in the spring! Thank you, Samantha and Chris for having us, and I hope you love your photos! We, too, are counting down until your special day!

On Monday, the weather was 70-something-degrees for this beautiful session. Today, it’s in the 40s! Luckily, the weather worked in our favor, and we were able to catch some pretty color, that ironically looks like fall colors. Mollie and Phil are getting married this fall, and I cannot wait for more amazing pictures of these two!

Saturday’s engagement session completely blew me away for so many reasons. The weather was way warmer than I could have imagined for a January session, considering we had ice one week prior! Capturing these two was simple. I barely had to tell them what to do because their embrace was picture-perfect! I cannot wait until their winter wedding this year, because they are truly “naturals” in front of the camera! Thank you, Chloe and Tim, for such a great session!

Last Monday evening, I had the pleasure of spending some time with this sweet couple! We did their session at Matthew’s grandmother’s home, that had lots of land, a lake, cows and calves, two bridges, and an antique store! I wasn’t worried about this area, because as soon as Tessa mentioned the location, I knew it […]

Jason and Lisa came to us early this year and asked us to shoot their November wedding. It was our only November date we had open for a wedding – perfect! So glad we were able to spend an evening in Augusta, MO, shooting their engagement session at Lisa’s parent’s house! The view is breathtaking […]

Can you tell engagement season is here? I had three engagement sessions last week, alone! I love engagement sessions because they don’t usually require me to play peek-a-boo to get a smile. We did this couple’s session at Kit’s parent’s home. It was a beautiful location and the spring morning light looks great on them, […]

Last Thursday, we had the most beautiful weather and pretty evening lighting to go with this simple engagement session near this couple’s home in Union, MO. Clare had mentioned that they were close to the Bourbeuse River, so when I showed up, I threw on some tennis shoes and hopped on the back of a […]

Kara and Tyler had a gorgeous winter engagement session – the light was perfect! The two were so natural together (which is always a good indicator that their wedding will be so fun to shoot!) We chose a few locations around Downtown, Washington, to give them a wintery and urban look! Can’t wait for their […]

We really live in a beautiful place! I love for my clients to each have different locations in their engagement and wedding pictures! Who wants the same thing as everyone else?! Scott and Monica had a perfect location for their recent engagement session, a local farm where Scott worked, and I am eally, reallly hoping […]

The beginning of October isn’t supposed to be cold…..but if it’s going to be, an engagement session is best so the couple can keep each other warm while I catch some cute pictures! Dustin and Elizabeth were my students and I am so excited they chose me to photograph their day! I can’t wait to […]
